Community/Corporate Teams

Dragon Boating is a great team building activity! Get your friends or coworkers together and form a “community” team.

With coaching and equipment provided by TDBA, teams from local schools, businesses and non-profit organizations – and even family groups – compete against each other for “bling” and bragging rights.

All community teams receive 3 free practice sessions with our coaches before the festival. Paddles and life jackets are provided at the practice sessions and at the festival. The community/corporate race course is 250 meters long.

Club Teams

As one of the first festivals of the season, it is a favorite “warm up” race for recreational and competitive teams throughout Washington and Oregon. The one-day festival is held at Thea’s Park and can accommodate up to 40 community and competitive teams – as many as 880 individual paddlers. The club teams race course is 500 meters long.
