Rainier Dragon Boat Festival

The Tacoma Dragon Boat Association (TDBA) is pleased to host the annual Rainier Dragon Boat Festival. This annual regatta is one of the premier competitive dragon boat events in the Pacific Northwest.
The race is 300 meters for all divisions, and the race venue is located at Thea’s Park on the Foss Waterway in beautiful downtown Tacoma, Washington.

Each team must bring a completed waiver and roster to the event. Coaches need to complete and sign the waiver. Please be sure every participant on your team signs next to their name on the roster.

- We hope everyone had a great day paddling. As with any event there were lessons learned. We added an extra bus in the morning and afternoon but did not schedule the afternoon bus in time to accommodate community teams finishing early. Hope to see all of you next year.
Parking
- Free Parking at Tacoma Dome (641 East 25th Street, Tacoma, WA 98421)
- Shuttle pick-up at:
- The Corner of East 25th St and East G St at Tacoma Dome Station
- Tacoma Glass Museum, 1801 Dock St, Tacoma between the Henry and Thea Landing.
- Two buses will be shuttling continuously from 0630 until 0900, 1 bus shuttling continuously from 0900 until 1500 with a second bus added from 1500 to 1700.
- Pay parking at 1933 Dock St (The Henry) with parking garage (1.2 miles to the venue)
- Pay parking at 1705 Thea Landing with a parking garage (1 mile to the venue)
